MOOC with information and exercises focusing on different stages of the learning process

This IO is based on the Learning by Doing approach towards education, promoted by Graham Gibbs. The IO is an instrument that can be used by youth workers and other educators from fields such as social work or formal education. The MOOC can be used by youth workers and young people on free of charge basis.

The Model of Gibbs’ reflective cycle encourages you to think systematically about the phases of an experience or activity, and that you should use all the headings to structure your reflection.

Part of the process includes discussing feelings and thoughts about experiences, evaluating, analysing events and reaching conclusions.

The MOOC will consist of 4 modules (each of the modules is divided in 9 courses each of 20 minutes), so a total of 12 hours of content. The MOOC will be accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The content is delivered asynchronously (meaning youth workers can access it in their own time and at their own pace).
